The Musée maritime de Charlevoix is located on the site of the former Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive shipyard. The museum invites visitors to relive all the maritime heritage of the region. People can also observe the schooners that once sailed the St. Lawrence River. In addition to the schooners, the museum presents permanent and temporary exhibitions about the important role that ships played for the region.
