This pure Québec-style house was built in 1860, when alcohol was prohibited by the church. The owner decided to thwart the authorities by building walls inside the house and hide the real vocation of the establishment. Nowadays, the house is still full of secret passages. If you pay attention to the little details, you might see the casino games well hidden in what looks like kid's games.
In the attic, the owner used to welcome important people in its Club des Monts. Nowdays, you can sample the delicious meals prepared by the chef, as well as the regional beer. When visiting the house, make sure you follow the guide, or you might get lost!
