Music and Relaxation

Founded more than 150 years ago in 1855, Saint-Irénée is one of these Charlevoix villages that draws so many people year after year. From nearly everywhere in the village, wherever you look, you can see the mountains and the St. Lawrence River. It is not surprising to learn that nearly 700 inhabitants chose this village as their home. This village is also part of the Most Beautiful Villages of Québec Association.

Saint-Irénée is devoted to agriculture and fishing. Its inviting beach stretches along the river for kilometres, and year after year, it draws numerous visitors in search for a relaxing moment. Saint-Irénée is also home to the Domaine Forget, a well-known music school in Quebec. In summer, its international classic music festival presents internationally renowned artists. Come listen to them!
