
Domaine Forget is first and foremost an International Music Festival that livens up the small village of Saint-Irénée for the entire summer season. The best jazz and classic musicians and invited to perform during the festival. Domaine Forget is also a Music and Dance Academy where nearly 600 students come learn music and dance with the greatest teachers in the world every year. In fall, the Season at Domaine Forget presents an exciting program, from world music to singing and beginners performances. The Domaine Forget Studios, these small fully equipped apartments, are an original kind of accommodation, available from spring to fall.
Once more this summer, the Domaine Forget's International Festival will truly impress you with its exceptional program presenting some of the best soloists in the world. Dance performances, chamber music and jazz music concerts complete the program that will be made public in April. Overall, about thirty concerts will be presented in the beautiful Françoys-Bernier Concert Hall, which is renowned for its exceptional acoustics. The Musical Brunches are also a delicious way to discover the Domaine Forget. The new Domaine pavilion, which is bathed with natural light and equipped with an exceptional terrace, can welcome up to 225 guests, in good or bad weather. It is an unforgettable gastronomic experience!
Visitors are invited to the free guided tours of the Françoys-Bernier Concert Hall, everyday during the International Festival, from June 21 to August 23, 2008, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The access to the estate is free, and the new historic showcases about the history of the Forget family can be admired here and there on the Domaine Forget.
