Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and Baie-Saint-Paul

Nestled in the Heart of the Valley

The area of Baie-Saint-Paul is the birthplace of the famous Cirque du Soleil as well as a highly cultural area, prized by painters from everywhere in the country. The famous painters of the Groupe des Sept used to gather here to paint. Along the narrow streets of Baie-Saint-Paul, you can admire numerous ancestral houses that clearly remind of the wealthy businessmen who settled in this region. The streets of the city are lined with boutiques and art galleries that show works by artists who come to the area for inspiration to pain or sculpt their beautiful works of art.

Before arriving in Baie-Saint-Paul, stop by Saint-Tite-des-Caps and its Sentiers, for you will be breathless by the outstanding view on the mountains and on the St. Lawrence River. The Massif of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, for its part, promises you some joyful moments by bike, foot or aki in winter. Never before a mountain offered you such a breathtaking view during an alpine skiing descent! Wherever you are in this area, take the time to admire the landscape… it is exceptional!
