This agroforestal village offers you a lot of sites where you will be able to practice all kinds of outdoor and sports activities. The parc national des Grands-Jardins, one of the central areas of the Charlevoix World Biosphere Reserve, houses 60 natural lakes, as well as hiking trails, cycle paths and exceptional scenery. Here you will find a caribou herd as well as Nordic vegetation like taiga. It is also possible to rent a cottage and campgrounds in the park. If you want to go fishing, the pools of the rivière du Gouffre are filled with salmons. If you prefer hiking, mountain biking or skiing, take the Traversée de Charlevoix, a 65-mile-long trail across the mountains that goes from the parc national des Grands-Jardins to the Mont Grand-Fonds in La Malbaie.
The Charlevoix Travel guide presents all the travel information you need to plan your next vacation in the region.
